Hap Cafe x Events
The Hap Cafe is a welcoming cafe (with a pretty cool fit-out) in Carlton North, Melbourne. It’s best known for its quality coffee, fresh food and community-focused atmosphere.
With Melbourne's café culture more competitive than ever, Hap wanted to inject a little extra character into its brand and create something customers would remember.
I illustrated a collection of playful, custom characters and designed some ensembles of them that captured the café's personality and gave the brand a fresh, recognisable visual style. These illustrations became the foundation for a range of branded merchandise and creative touchpoints, bringing a fun, quirky identity to life both inside and beyond the café.
Full Project Scope
Independently run by owner Renee and her husband, it was important that the creative reflected the warm, wholesome and down-to-earth personality they'd worked so hard to build.
We wanted something playful and full of character, without losing the welcoming, personal feel that makes Hap special.
